Comfy Cozies await - - winter is just around the corner

Heather and I have been working on some donation projects. She made this chemo cap and is working on another one! Thank you so much, Heather! Still trying to get over a stiff wrist, so her help is definitely appreciated!

Hannah is modeling the hat and scarf combos that the Comfy Cozies are doing for the homeless this year. It was asked that we make scarves that fit more closely around the neck, so this pattern was given. I found a pattern for a warm ski band that is made like the scarf... tried it, and voila!

Hannah didn't mind putting this on - -it is 46 degrees today. Shouldn't really complain since it was in the 80s last week!

Carol and I are starting a knitting club in our rooms Monday, we had two kids show up for the informational meeting - -but three more told us that they forgot! Two kids said that they have yarn from their grandmas that they can donate... if that happens, that would be such a blessing! Then the students would not have to invest in their donated pieces!

Hope everyone is warm this weekend...

you too, Steven, out on the mountains of Colorado elk hunting!
