Finishing up ... then starting new!

I am in love with my square knitting needles from Colorado! I made both of these scarves using them... the red scarf is acrylic (a no-no for capital K knitters) done in k2,p2 pattern,

















and the multi-colored scarf is made from corn! It is kind of neat material - - it looks like a very skinny shoelace. Quite fun!


I took these yesterday, along with my Baby Surprise Sweater, to show my friend Carol. We were having a birthday celebration at Macaroni Grill. We were there quite a while and both started to get a bit chilly in the air conditioning. So, I pulled out the scarves! She wore the red one with her blue and white outfit, and I wore the pink/purple one with my black top.




















I don't think anyone noticed the chunky size 15 needle hanging from the bottom of my unfinished scarf!
