Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The Christmas break is over, the festivities have been had... it was great to spend Christmas with EVERYONE TOGETHER AGAIN! It has not happened for a while, and it was quite wonderful. The great grandparents had a good time, too!
Thank you all for everything you did to make it special... from cookie baking like the good 'ole days, to helping with computer stuff that always takes longer than anyone can imagine, and all the delicious treats from other parts of the world! (Three milk cake, cuz I can't spell the Spanish name for it, meat breads, and hallacas.) The games, the visits, the special presents, and all the happy-to-have-a-full-house noises! Thank you again, everyone! This list is just a few of the wonders of the Christmas of 2008, the thanks include them all!
Part 2
For the second week of Christmas Break, I decided since Mason got a sweater, Hannah needed something, too. So, off to the LYS local yarn store to get some yarn. Wanted to learn how to do socks in '09...
I got off to a really good start... I was going to knit two at a time for my first pair (biting off a bit more than I should have, but who knew!) So, to make it easier to see them, I got two different yarns, and got to it! That meant that I was committed to making two more just like the first pair.

Then,
I found out about gussets... let's see... four socks... I made 13 of them... then I got the hang of it!
Toes... four socks... made 6 of them. You should see the pointy first attempts when I misread the directions! ; )
But, with a little bit of I-am-not-quiting-until-I-get-this-right-cuz-I-am-NOT-paying-$45-for-the-sock-class attitude...
The socks!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas this year... Thank you all, once again!
